The company Markal was founded in 1936 by Georges Markarian.
Since that time, the company has always processed hard wheat with the ancient know-how taken back from Armenia.

The son Jacques, and the 2 grand sons, Olivier and Franck keep on producing and promoting the production of bulgur wheat.

The company is also diversified into a large range of organic food ingredients and products and is
DO-IT’s partner for the French market as DO-IT is Markal’s partner for the Dutch market.
